My Experience With the Rydon Zoom Xp Hoverboard Review
My nine-year-old nephew’s birthday was approaching, and I got the Rydon Zoom XP as a present. I didn’t want to pick any random model, so when I had to buy a hoverboard, I decided to skim through some of the reviews first.
I went through multiple models of different brands and checked reviews of each gadget. As I mentioned, my nephew is nine years old, so my top priority was to get a hoverboard that is best for kids. The best part is it’s a simple easy to learn electric scooter best for children or beginners.
The operating system is pretty simple. It does not have multiple buttons or operational modes, so impatient kids like my nephew won’t lose their minds over it. It has a sturdy body but is not too heavy, so children above 6 to 7 can easily manage it. Also, It took my nephew a few trials to get the hang of it. What I did was I held his hands in the initial trials and walked along. It helped him learn better in no time.
If you are getting this for your kids, assist them for the first few days. It helps them make balance as well as avoid the fear of tripping over. The rubber tires are best to maintain the grip and make the ride smooth. The scooter is ideal for children within the age group of 7 to 12 under my observation. It offers a maximum speed of 5 mph, an ideal speed for kids.
My nephew has not tried it with the maximum speed yet. He rides at an average speed of 3 to 4 mph. One thing he complained about was that it makes some noise while he tries to increase the speed. Another thing he and I both think could have been better is the battery life. It provides just one hour of functioning, which is pretty low after five hours of charging, to be honest.
But considering the Rydon Zoom is available under $100, it’s still a pretty good deal. Over the Rydon is a good hoverboard for those seeking a lightweight, easy to ride, and budget-friendly self-balancing scooter.
Here are the pros and cons as per my experience-
Pros
- Easy to learn and balance
- Best for kids above 5 to 6 years
- Can withstand the wear and tear of rough rides
- Stylish look
Cons
- The battery life could have been better
- It gets a bit noisy at max speed
Final Words
The Rydon Zoom XP Hoverboard is best for beginners and kids looking for a stylish, compact, and affordable model. Do give this a try, as my own experience with the device is quite incredible!
